Choosing the right school for your child is an important decision. Every family will look for something slightly different, but at Whitegrove we are clear about what we want for every child in our care: to be happy, confident, curious and inspired to achieve their very best.

Our curriculum is broad, ambitious and carefully designed to build knowledge, skills and understanding as children progress through the school. Rooted in the National Curriculum, learning is brought to life through rich experiences, purposeful projects, educational visits and opportunities to explore the world beyond the classroom.

We have high expectations for every child and encourage our pupils to take an active role in their own learning. Strong partnerships between children, staff and families help us to create an environment where learning is valued and success is celebrated.

At Whitegrove, education extends well beyond academic achievement. We want our children to develop the skills and qualities they need for life: confidence, resilience, independence, organisation, empathy and self-awareness. Through the curriculum, extracurricular opportunities, sport, leadership and wider school experiences, children are encouraged to understand their responsibilities, respect others and make a positive contribution to their community.

By the time children leave Whitegrove, our aim is that they are not only academically well prepared for the next stage of their education, but also confident, caring and independent young people who are ready to embrace new challenges.
