Useful links for children
These websites are used during our learning in school. They are all external links so we hope that they will be reliable. Please make sure that parental settings are in place and, while we don’t think any of these sites require in-app purchases, it’s good practice to make sure you have measures in place to prevent these.
Most of these sites do not require you to log-in (or a school log-in has already been created). For other sites, if your parents choose to create an account for you, please:
- stay anonymous (use an unidentifiable user name)
- make passwords secure (mix of capitals and lowercase, numbers, special characters eg @!)
- do not use your photo as a profile picture
- make a careful note of your log-in details.

You do not need to sign up for an account as there’s the option under the File Menu to “Save to your computer” and then “Load from your computer”. Requires Chrome, Godzilla or Microsoft Edge browsers (does not work in Internet Explorer, Vivaldi, Opera or Silk)
Year 4s loved this in Computing lessons! You do not need to log in to be able to move the turtle around the screen to draw patterns and shapes but, if you log in using your usual Whitegrove details, you'll be able to save your work.
