OFSTED Inspection Report

Our school was visited by the OFSTED Inspection Team on 8th and 9th March 2022 for a short inspection. View our Ofsted report here.

The inspection was the first for Whitegrove under the new framework introduced in September 2019. The new framework is very exacting and a real challenge for schools coming out of the pandemic so, as our headteacher at the time said, "I could not be prouder for our team, children and community".

HM's Inspector was extremely complimentary following her two long days scrutinising evidence, documentation, surveys, observation and talking with leaders, children, staff and parents.

Pupils are well prepared for the next stage of their education because of the careful thought put into the subject content that they study in each year.

Following two tough years, Whitegrove moves forward, with a united community, seeking the best possible education for our children. Please note, any improvements mentioned by the HMI inspector were already within our development planning and are in hand.

One pupil told the inspector, ‘It’s ok to be whoever you are, no matter where you were born or what your gender is.’
